Personajul principal Max, un pistolar celebru, este contractat pentru a aduce inapoi o tanara doamna fugita cu un dezertor din armata. Max afla de fapt ca tanara doamnita a fugit de catre sotul abuziv iar acesta este pus in situatia de a continua sau a renunta asupra misiunii sale, in timp ce rivalul cel mai mare Joe, si asasini nemilosi sunt pe calea acestuia.
